Chiyogami jewelry is made with silkscreened paper and Brass, which is coated with non toxic vocs to extend the wear of your jewelry and make each piece water resistant, not water proof. You should avoid bathing and swimming while wearing your Chiyogami jewelry. 

To clean paper Chiyogami side, use a soft dry cloth to spot clean and Pro Polishing pads to clean reverse Brass side.
